Healthcare jobs are notoriously stressful; some call it “compassion fatigue”. Here are some ways healthcare workers deal (in no particular order):

  • Cigarettes
  • Coke/Coffee/Caffeinated Beverage
  • Illicit Drugs
  • Talk Therapy
  • Antidepressants/Prescription Medication
  • Exercise
  • Yoga
  • Qigong
  • Volunteering (this one I don’t think I could pull off as well)
  • Tension balls
